you guys never provide details about the marketing channel.
how many sales of this $7700 DAC does the company expect to make this year (2012)?? what were the total number units sold of the Bell Canto Unit in 2011?

Actually, we do require any product that gets a full review in Stereophile, unless it is sold direct, to be available from at least 5 US retailers. See www.stereophile.com/asweseeit/307awsi/index.html.

As to the total number sold of any product, companies keep that information close to their chests. But as we publish the serial numbers of products we review, you could get a very rough idea by comparing that serial number with the ones on demo at stores.
