Velodyne Sub for B&W 703??

Greetings,
I have by this time fully broken in my 703s', now is the time that i want to get some lower end extension. I have been thinking of the of the B&W ASW700 because i was told that i can set this sub to start reacting to musical information around 31HZ which is around the point that the 703s' have rolled off the lower frequencies. From what i have been reading on the internet, many persons are recommending the Velodyne subs. My system is for music only, and i am looking for a smooth and seamless transition of my music into the lower ranges, without the Subwoofer becoming the focal point. Any input that you may have would be helpful.
Have a great day!

That is the hard bit...

Personally I've got a rel strata III with my 805s.

I cant really comment on the velodyne kit, but with may hours of listening , moving around and know twiddling I have it almost intergrated. It sounds amazing, the sub pressurises the room and generates lots off non fluffy, non boomy bass when required. Everything remains in control so I'm happy.

Look elsewhere if you want slam, look at the rels if you want controlled bass.
