Hi, is the usb in an a/v receiver any good? I want to buy one with the option if it's worthwhile.

but my understanding is that it takes a LOT of engineering to make a really good usb digital link. It has to do with jitter, digital timing errors. You might want to get an affordable usb dac which is more likely to spend the money and time to get the jitter out.
