Any cable will take time to break in. How long depends on the brand and construction. I wouldn't make any serious evaluations for at least the first 100 to 150 hours. Some cables take longer. My point, don't rush to judgments such as "bright."

I was just wondering this myself - the antis have no dialectric to speak of so I would expect no real break-in.

The enamels are still there. The coatings engineer here at the factory was a magnet wire enamel designer in an earlier life. He can easily believe that the differing enamels do cause their own sonic considerations. He had to deal with the electrical ramifications of the enamels every day.

There also the issues of the given materials, ie wire that is underneath the enamel,and the interaction between the two. Nothing is perfect, ie, not everything will sound the same. Break-in considering the wire material itself will still occur, as a minimum consideration..among other issues.

Because the Anti-Cable wire has very little dielectric material surrounding it, there is very little "break-in" effect. Most people think the Anti-Cables sound great right out of the box, yet others report they get better with time. Once you get about 100 hours on the Anti-Cables, you consider them quite broken-in.

After some break in period, experiment with speaker placement again. A little relocation or change in toe in angle can perhaps tweak things to your liking.
