hahahahaha
I WANT ONE!
I hope the test CD includes the sound of Sam Tellig's evil laugh. The evil laugh should be performed in an anechoic chamber with reverb added as needed.
The CD should also include a comparison of analog and high resolution digital as well as solid state and tube comparisons.
So, where do I sign?
Of course the CD has ST's evil laugh along with a very rare recording of the infamous Lars.
And yes it also includes extensive tests for comparing analog to digital and for comparing natural wood logs to those fake composite logs.
As for solid state versus tube, those tests are there as well plus some nice tests for comparing inner tubes to rafts and there is even a test for solid state versus a red or a blue state.
Basically this disc has everything you can think of on it. There is even a section called "The Super List" but it is not recommended that this section be used for anything other than testing audio equipment since the music, while well recorded, is really quite unpleasant.
Jazz, I think you have outdone yourself. I'm definitely putting my name on the requisition list. Does JV provide labels for this CD as well as the potential customers?
I'm afraid my bottom end bloom won't quite fit on the CD
Sorry. It's been a bad week. My car was hit on the freeway, and David's car was stolen. Plus, plumbing problems downstairs and upstairs, and neighbors who won't turn down blaring music. I've got to joke about something.
Signed,
The sad audiophile who is about to drive the one remaining limping auto to the gym and take it all out on some meaningless pieces of metal.
Hey, jazz, when you come out with the cable test CD will part ot it be liquid to test the liquid cables. Is that what is holding up the production?
perhaps KBK coud help
