The decks!
I salute you. You've taken it to a whole new level. You have an amazing set up.
The left turtable is for 78 rpm disc replay. Quad 22 tube amp for that turntable. Decca ffss head and arm with Decca lift, Decca brush and restored Auriol lift. The center turtable is Thorens with SME 3 and Shure V15 nmr. The right turntable is Garrard 301 SME 2 improvedand Shure V15 nmr.
I have owned this gramophone equipment since new. I have learnt from my architect daughter, then when presenting vintage deigns in the modern age, you need to suggest the past, and not slavishly copy it.
Back in the fifties and sixties there were firms in London, especially Largs of Holborn, who made beautiful furniture to house tuners, pre amps, amps, turn tables and tape decks. The design of this turntable case is to suggest and remind the viewer of that bygone era. It was an era of superb craftsmanship and quality
