Tube Amps for Sonus Faber Stradivari?

Hi!

I am thinking of buying a pair of the Sonus Faber Stradivari speakers. I listened them in my friend's house and liked very much. In his setup the pair was combined with Burmester equipment. However, for my system I would like to combine the system with Tube Amps and Preamps.

Can someone recommend to me some decent combinations? Obviously, this is a matter of choice. But I do not quite know where to start. So far, I have only looked into McIntosh and Axiss Audio.

Thank you.

I know that Sonus Faber has used Audio Research at a couple of trade shows so that most likely is a good match.

This is what you need to consider as far as basic electrical compatibility ...

Stradivari Homage is specified as having a very high 92dB voltage sensitivity; to Sonus Faber's credit, my estimated figure was even higher, at 93dB(B)/2.83V/m. However, the speaker asks the partnering amplifier for a lot of current capability, its impedance (fig.1) dropping to 3 ohms and below for much of the upper bass and midrange. And the combination of 4.4 ohms impedance magnitude and

How about a hybrid approach? There are some great hybrid amplifiers out there.

If the new moscode is anything like its predecessor, it is mighty fine! the earlier one handled difficult z loads very well, sounded great, and gave all the best of both worlds.
