Why would you be worried? That they might have built a better speaker? Hopefully, that is what all manufacturers do. That they won't be in warranty? Manufacturers are obligated to keep replacement parts. That your speakers will decrease in value? There isn't much out there that increases in value from day one. If you still believe the products you own are the best you could have chosen at the time, don't worry. Sit back and enjoy the music.
Hi Dean.
Yes, Triangle has discontinued their ES range of speakers, but, like Jan said, I don't think you should be worried.
Not to be concerned, Dean. I have heard the ESW and EX series side-by-side...very minimal difference which was only noticable with an amp and cdp in the $2500 range.
Thank you for the responses, really appreciate them. I do enjoy the Celius pair very much, open up my ears.
Are the Celius replaced by any particular model in the Esprit EX series?
Dean
If memory serves me correctly the ESW series had 2 models with dual woofers (one had larger woofers and midrange than the other) the EX series has only one model with dual woofers. So to answer your question, no.
The Triangle Esprit Antel EX at $2899 a pair will be the top of the line now.
