Terrorist Threats Effective, politicians resign.

http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2011/01/fearing-tea-party-violence-arizona-re...

Looks like the McCarthyists and Brownshirts won this one.

This is exactly the kind of terrorist act that guys here like Lamont and soul_... seem to be espousing, with their repeated hate speech, false accusations of criminal behavior, and attempts to slur anyone only slightly to the right of Barry Goldwater with the "commie" label.

The words here are exactly in the same spirit, and show the same hateful nature and evil intent.

RIght. Nobody will comment on their brownshirt tactics...

Silence is consent. You don't decry it, you're part of it. I didn't know you guys were actually terrorists, instead of merely childish narcissists.

Yeah, that Tea Party is a scary bunch

I hear they even pick up after themselves when they hold rallies and such. They're probably doing the work that would otherwise go to SEIU members.

Speaking of SEIU, I'd be willing to bet that there has been more genuine violence instigated by those guys than the Tea Party folks. Now, that's some first rate thuggery that gets buried by the msm.

Michelle Malkin has a really long, well documented running total of all the left-wing violence and appeals for violence by the left on her website. It's complete with police reports, mug shots, rally signs and actual statements made by the perps. You should check it out when you have about a week to read it all.

The bubble you guys are living in is so well insulated from truth that you can no longer put rational thoughts together that aren't first filtered through the part of your brains that distill reason and logic and discard it all-together.

words vs. actions

Ridiculous op-ed piece from a left-wing website. Another in the long list of demonization tactics directed at the Tea Party patriots.

It was Obama that told supporters during his presidential campaign to 'get in peoples faces' and " If they bring a knife, we need to bring a gun to the fight.'

Seems the democrats suffer from short term, convienent memory. Proof of this was back when Malik Shabazz of the New Black Panther Party advocated that a black revolution would lead to the justifiable killing of whites. Where was the democrat outrage that we see now against the tea party? No where.

It's simple. These progressives are hypocrites.

Politicians, judges, talk show hosts, etc; have always gotten threats to one degree or another. That's why they have security. It's the nature of politics.

... It's obvious it would give the progressives great joy and delight if the federal government would restrict or ban freedom of assembly and all the 'words' they deem innappropriate.

So, who do you think Obama should install as 'speech czar'?

...Keith Olbermann possibly? Ed Schultz?

Why don't you think for yourself for a while instead of letting Joe McCarthy's ghost and Glen Beck think for you?

It's telling how one-sided your presentations are. You've left out a host of things here, and want people only to remember what one side says and does.

That's dishonest.

My replies are totally in context of your original post to demonize the Tea Party Patriots.

When it comes to freedom and liberty.... Yes, I always default to freedom. If that is one-sided, then so be it.

Take the progressive blinders off and maybe you will learn something about politics.

And, how does that differ from JJ's original post?

He goes off on a tirade about several members here and compares that to terrorism while linking to an article about a guy who resigns because he fears violence from tea partiers. Meanwhile, not a single mention that I'm aware of the actual, not perceived, violence regularly perpetrated by the left. He then compounds the contradiction by implying that the named member gets his news and information from two sources...a ghost and Glenn Beck.

And then the cherry on top of the obliviousnous sundae he seems to be enjoying, he accuses the member of presenting one side of the argument and is therefore, dishonest.

How does a person's brain deteriorate to this level of inactivity?

I guess its because whenever a progressive like jj cannot refute a claim with facts, reason, and common sense, incoherence takes over and wild accusations follow. Which if you think about it, most progressives are exactly that, incoherent.

It would be wise of you to not lie bout my political positions.

You, sir, are a sinful liar, who has repeatedly made up utterly dishonest, intolerant, unChristian falsehoods about my political positions.

I guess that's ok, since you can always "accept Christ" and be saved no matter how bad you are, eh?

You can remove 'political positions' at the end of your statement and insert 'Tea Party.'

By the which, defines your past unfounded rants about the Tea Party Patriots.

The Tea Party (to me)...

I'll always remember the picture of the toothless old guy at the Tea Party rally holding the sign "No Estate Tax". Like he has an estate. Or teeth.
Maybe the Koch brothers promised him new choppers if he'd make the scene.
