Impressive!!!
Several changes have taken place to my system during 2011. The setup at this time is...
Hales Transcendence 8 towers and center channel speakers (L,C,R)
Hales Revelation 1 monitors (surrounds)
Velodyn DD 12 subwoofer
Bryston SP2 preamp processor
Proceed HPA2 power amp (drives front left/right speakers)
Proceed Amp 3 (drives center and surrounds) - new addition to system
Marantz SA11 S2 (SACD player) - new addition to system
Opoo BDP83 SE (universal blu-ray player)
Not shown in photo
Technics SL 1200 (KAB modified w/arm rewire, RCA outputs, outboard power supply, fluid damper)
PS Audio GCPH (phono pre) - new addition to system
Fostex CR 300 (pro CD burner)
Creek OBH 11 (headphone amp)
The changes were...
1) Musical Fidelity Tri-Vista 300 integrated (Removed from system and sold)
2) Musical Fidelity Tri-Vista SACD player (Broke down and now sitting in box)
3) Cambridge Audio 640P (Replaced with PS Audio GCPH and sold)
With the Bryston now the sole preamp in the setup my system is now more streamlined. The sound has definitely changed too. I notice much better grip in the low frequencies--particularly the very low bass. I can also hear further into the various mixes of the recordings I own. I like it so far.
