Swine Flu preps

Mexico is now reporting 149 dead...they have closed schools nationwide for at least two weeks...A Texas town with a few cases has also closed schools for a week...so

How prepared are folk to:

1. Stay in their home for weeks
2. Be sent home by their employer
3. Deal with kids sent home from school

Some things folk can do that have no long term negative effect.

1. Plan
2. Stock a months food
3. restock the medicine cabinet
4. get cleaning supplies

Now, what if you had to remain home for two months?

Re: Swine Flu preps

I rented the film 28 Days, so I can use it as a guide as people turn into zombies.

It's not staying home I'm worried about, it's the zombies.

I'm jealous of the Fox News crowd. Zombies eat brains, so those people are all safe!

Maybe if we all turn on Fox News, zombies will hear it as they approach the house and bypass it, assuming no brains to be had inside.

Yup, it's the zombies.

Add the new zombie threat to the flood of zombies voted out of Washington this past year, and we could really be in for the Dawn of the Dead!

The 1918 pandemic killed off 5% of the world's population. We should be so lucky today. It would take care of a lot of problems. Its not nice to fool with mother nature.

Ooooh, what a great opportunities for you guys to stock up on guns and ammo. You know all those sick people will be ganging on your door asking to come in when the pandemic hits. You'll hold the Alamo. No one will get it and no one will come out alive!

BTW, I hope this swine flu targets a few swines round these neck of the woods. I'm sure these swines know who they are.

Lock and load!

I'm on it, Alex. I just received my back ordered Savage .308 Scout. Perfect for epidemics.

Re: Swine Flu preps

Go with just plain salt pork and buttermilk. Prosciutto is for dumb Irish elitists on the east coast that think us Italians actually eat that shit.

BTW, I can say stuff like that. I'm in a mixed marriage. I married an Irish. She was dumb enough to marry me but I'll be damn if she liked prosciutto. When she spit that shit out onto the sidewalk and said she was from Texas I knew it was love at first site.
