SVS SCS-01(M) Speaker System

Hello:

I'm in the process of putting together a HT system and want to get a decent set of speakers that I can use for both classical music ( I have a lot of CD: orchestral and piano as well as a lot of LPs ) and also videos and movies. My budget is about $2K for the speaker system. Will this be a good choice for such a system?

Thanks for the feedback on this,
Jhon

What are you going to use to drive the speakers? What kind of an amplifier? If you're going to use a receiver, your choices may be somewhat limited since receivers have difficult time with 4 ohm loads, which most audiophile speakers are.

I'm planning to get the Denon AVR-3808CI receiver.
