There are many test programs out there and some offer more than "one dimensional signal" analysis, depending on the resolution and platform required. The real cost is usually in the interface that provides that transduces the stimulus and output and connects your computer to the outside world. You might start with a look at TrueRTA (http://www.trueaudio.com/rta_abt1.htm).
However, I think you are barking up the wrong tree if you think you can measure the effects of cables, stands or vibration suppression pads. See http://www.audioholics.com/education/loudspeaker-basics/audio-measurements for a basic introduction to some of the issues.

I was a skeptic and still am. It is not a spectrum analyser Kal, but much more complex. That might be the problem. "Measurements you can hear!"
Interesting but Googling did not reveal any information about the measurement system from Acuity Products Ltd at all. There are references to its use but nothing about what is actually being done.
Tech support responded to my inquiry about the paper. They had shown this process at one of the shows a couple years ago:
"Thank you for your enquiry. I still have fun reading this article. We are continually working on this and have not produced anything for the web yet."
