setting up a sound system, which equipments i need

Hi everybody, i'm new to all these audio systems and hi-fi products, i really don't know the fundamentals. I am reading articles about it, but i think it will take maybe 5 years to learn basics:) therefore if i ask something that has no meaning or not logical i am sorry. also i am from turkey and writing in english is a bit difficult for me, sorry for that too:)

I spent very little time in home (working 12 hours everyday) and the only thing which helps me to relax is listening music. I have no tv and not interested to buy one. The type of music I listen to varies on my mood of course, but generally i listen downtempo, ambient, electronic, dub, psychill and classical music. I use my macbook (iTunes library) as music source and i know for the best result i have to use lossless audio formats. I want to buy a home audio system for multi room purpose. Firstly i read the reviews about sonos wi-fi system. but as you know it's too expensive (in turkey play 5 is about 580 dollar because of custom charges). I tought to buy a set which consisted of two play 5, one sub (not available in turkey like most of the audio products) and a bridge which will cost above 2250 dollars. Right after i figured out it will cost too much to buy a wi-fi system, i begun to search for alternatives like a audio system which i stream the music over airport express. after this long introduction i want advice from patient ones to setting up a good (maybe average for you:) sound system about 1500 dolars  which will cost about 2500 dollars here. i may not totally understand your advices due to my lack of knowledge about audio products at the beginning but i will search them on internet and try to understand. my room is not so big, approximately  4*5 meters,  house is nearly 100 square meters.

thank you for your interest

SYSTEM

I don't understand your comment about a "bridge'. ????

A good place to start would be a receiver.

I suggest an Onkyo TX-414 receiver which Amazon sells for around $300 in the USA.

I think it is available world-wide.

Do you just want a pair of stereo speakers, or do you want 5 channels?
