The Rega does not have a converter (I own one), though you should talk to Rega itself, since they are based in England. Maybe they have advice for you, other than the obvious wall converter. The plug will be different too, though it can be replaced easily.
I contacted the Rega people, the guy I spoke to said I just need to get a step down tranformer for $100 (AUD) or so and it'll work fine.
Said it's actually advantageous in that the power I'm getting will be even and the player in protected from power surges. Definitely some of the best news I've heard all week.
