Recommended unaccompanied Cello recordings

I need some recommendations on some good/great unaccompanied cello recordings.  I have the J.S. Bach Six Suites for Cello featuring Pierre Fournier on Archiv Productions and the EMI Classic recording, Fournier Encore, and really love these and wanted to see if anyone else knew of any others. I think I like the EMI actually better than the Archiv which is interesting but, that's another story.

I know Yo Yo Ma did the same six as well and was thinking about getting that, but before I started buying, wanted to see if anyone else had some recommendations of some other pieces or anything else that really stood out for you.

Thanks!

David

Cello redux part 2

For the Bach suites Fournier and Casals are arguably the two towering legends although while the Fournier recording is from the "golden age" of analog recordings I find that the Casals remasterings, while admirably clear, can't mask their 1920s origins.

For more modern reocrdings Yo Yo ma is indeed hard to beat although I would also recommend Pieter Wispelwey on Channel Classics and Michael Kevin Jones on EMEC.  Wispelwey in particular is worth seeking out, he got chops!
