With questions like these it is always helpful if you let us know what your budget and listening preferences are. A good integrated amp might serve your purposes if you have a more modest budget.
Otherwise, with those loudspeakers you could consider a NAD C162 preamp ($600) and a NAD C272 power amp ($800). Or the Rotel RC-1082 preamp ($1000) and the Rotel RB-1080 power amp($1000). Another that I like are the Bel Canto PRe2 preamp ($3500, on sale for $1890) and the Bel Canto S300 power amp ($1400).
Without knowing your budget, I'm going to throw out preamps that I think would be appropriate for these speakers.

Oops, sorry for not setting a few parameters. My goal is to assemble a 2-channel audio system. My listening preferences are primarily jazz (both instrumentals & vocals) as well as some classical & renaissance choir. Listening volume levels are moderate. I am interested in a balanced sound similar to live performances.
The room is a large polygon configuration of various sides & angles. Dimensions are approximately 36' X 42'w/ 10-ft. ceilings. The floor is carpeted & walls have many floor-to-ceiling windows.
My budget constraint is around $5,000, unless spending a bit more will significantly improve the auditory quality of the system.
Thank you for your suggestions thus far. I am receptive to other recommendations.
My recommendations still stand with the caveat that you buy on the used market in order to fit into your budget.
