Question regarding Emotiva setup

Greetings all,

I am very new to the area of stereo hi-fi, however I am a music lover and have a decent inventory of headphone amplifiers. However, i'm assembling an entry level setup and would like your input:

1) Emotiva XPA-2 (300 watts per channel) - Looking to purchase

2) Decware CSP-2 (tube preamp) - Already owned

3) Martin Logan Source Speakers (200w power handling)

As far as sources, I have a Rega P5 turntable with a Musical Surroundings Phonomena II phono stage and a Wyred 4 Sound DAC-2.

Please let me know what you guys think. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks very much

Well, you can find out for yourself.

You can purchase the XPA-2, listen to it in your system, in your room, and if you don't like it, return it and you'll only be out the return shipping as the cost of an audition. My guess is it will well complement your other equipment.

I ALSO have Emotiva + ML Sources

I power my Sources with 2 UPA-1's 200/350 Watts

I saved a few bucks on special ..and felt i did NOT need the 300 / 500 of the XPA-2

With the XDA-1 Dac for dac / pre the setup is AWESOME ...

I also use the second RCA outs of the XDA-1 DAC for 2 x 15" Powered Subs ...

I roll off the subs at 40Hz and run the Sources Full range

Life is GOOD ...the Music is GREAT
