PS Audio Power Plant Premier Review

Thank you for the review of the Power Plant Premier (PPP) on page 111. I'm glad that Mr.Deutsch liked what he heard.

Unfortunately, there was no Measurement section. The PPP is sold based on the premise that the PPP keeps electric voltage constant and that THD is reduced. Accordingly, one's system will then sound better.

The review mentions that PS Audio hooks up a Fluke at audio shows to show the benefits but I would appreciate if you, Mr. Atkinson, can verify the claims of constant voltage and reduced THD. Sorry if I am 'old school', but I would like some verification other than the front panel meter of the PPP.

Thanks again.

JA, that sounds like a very reasonable suggestion - how about a "Follow Up" with the requested measurements in a later issue.

I have a second sample of the PS Audio piece and will publish a Follow-Up in due course.

Hi

As a person heavily involved with UPS systems and audio i think it would be fascinating to compare a PS aduio unit with the variety of UPS systems available.

Id be happy to suggest some parameters if interested.

Just a reminder - Will there be Follow-Up measurements of the Power Plant Premier soon?

Thank you.
