NAD's own PP-2 goes well with the 325 and is a high-quality piece. I've listened extensively to the P1/C325BEE/PP-2 and was pleased.
I've not heard the Cambridge Audio 640P, but it has been reviewed very highly, the consensus seeming to be that it is in a league with much more expensive preamps, and a step or two above the PP-2. For $189 retail, it would also fit within your budget.
Many people, including Michael Fremer, are fond of the Bellari VP129 ($250).
Pro-Ject also makes some affordable stages that would be worth checking out.
Perfect, thanks! That's exactly what I was looking for. I shall check those guys out and see whats what. Actually, while I'm at it... got any recommendations for other sites on the matter of hi-fi stuff (reviews, others forums, places to shop, etc.)? My resources on this stuff are very limited. Thanks again!
