Thank you for the heads up and thank you for the investigative journalism. Every luxury good industry eventually faces this problem. I'm surprised that high-end audio has escaped it this long. I know that recently Van den Hul power chords were a recent target, as reported by Stereophile and that counterfeit Audioquest has started to show up in the Far East (http://www.easternhifi.co.nz/assets/sm/1330/80/CounterfeitingIssue0308_v1r23.pdf)
