Olasonic Nano Campo Line

Axiss Distribution was on hand to display new products from Olasonic including a CD transport and DAC (shown in photo). Axiss' Arturo Manzano explained that Olasonic is a Japanese company comprised of ex-Sony engineers who had worked on SACD development. The products are made in China and come in white or black finishes while retailing for $800 each.

That doesn't look like a DAC. That could be a DAC with a headphone amp or with a headphone amp and some preamp functionality.

This is important for those customers looking for a DAC that has the best performance to cost ratio - money here gets spent on those other modules. And volume controls often mess things up, particularly in lower priced gear.
