On Newsstands Now: Our May Issue!

PS Audio’s affordable Swiss Army Knife of an integrated amplifier—it offers digital, Bluetooth, and analog inputs, including phono—is featured on the May issue's cover. Hi there,

I'm really excited about the Classé multichannel gear reviews, I've been eying those for a while but I am saddened to see that "On newsstands" does not seem to include the digital subscriptions… zinio's still on the april issue.

I can't see this issue in my Google newsstand either. It still shows the Apr issue.

How does it come that the printed version is available and the digital one is still missing? In the old good days it was always the opposite! Can somebody explain the odds?

The Zinio and Apple Newsstand editions are available on the "official" publication date of each issue. Paradoxically, the old-fashioned print version seems these days to reach subscribers before that date.

By the time this announcement shows up on the Stereophile site, I'm usually a quarter of the way through the issue, but it's not in my mailbox yet, either.

It is April 20th and there is still no sign of the May issue on Zinio. This is extremely frustrating to see it on the stands and not being able to get the digital copy.

Zinio edition now comes up consistently a few days (max 6) after the edition appears in print. I used to hate that, now I just rationalize that the digital version appears on the 20th of the month rather than the middle. In any event the wait time appears to be shorter than it used to be so no complaints, when the time comes I will renew again. As I approach my 50th I find whining and complaining as to whether my digital copy has arrived on time to be a complete waste of energy, like lost emails inevitably everything finds its destination.
