It's simple, keep the ones you like the best. You're the one who will be listening to them. What anyone else thinks means diddly!
Get rid of them all and get stacked double Large Advents. You'll be hooked.
Although I am partial also to Altec Lansing speakers.
Sell the ESS, someone will want the tweeters for parts to fix their pair. Sell the L100's, someone will want them for the white woofers and because they think these speakers represent "classic" JBL monitor sound. (How are the foam grills? They fetch as much as the speakers.) Sell the Altecs, they aren't worth that much to begin with and again people will think this is "classic" Altec sound. Keep the IMF's and use the money from the other speakers to buy an amplifier with enough watts to drive the transmission lines.
