The Cambridge is the better choice. If you don't mind factory refurbished, you might want to consider a Marantz PM5004 from accessories4less for $299. I think that would be my first choice in that price range.

Thank you for your input, but I am very limited in my options due to availability, so the Marantz is not an option.

In the 30 seconds it took me to read your not and get ready to type or forgot about you being in Mexico. The Cambridge will be the better sounding unit.

For a significant step up in quality, I would recommend the Music Hall 15.3 amplifier.

Audio Advisor has it for $549, and I think they can ship to Mexico.

hi, I really new to this and I recently started my research for a budget system. I`m limited on my options in Mexico but I could manage to buy a pair of the Wharfedale Diamond 10.1 (based on an extensive research for a budget speaker). My main problem is choosing an amp to both pair with the WD 10.1 and a d1 audioengine Dac, most my music comes from a laptop but i plan to add a turntable early next year.

My options so far are a Harman kardon 3770 or a Cambridge Topaz sr10.

Need help!!!

Either one of those will probably work fine for you.

I managed to fin a Marantz sr 4023, and decided to go with the Wharfedale 10.2, It sounds great with my d1 Dac and alac files. Any extra tips for better sound quality??
