I owned briefly, for about 24 hours a NAD C320BEE, which I purchsed when it first came out to replace an aged NAD 3240PE. I was on the upgrade from thrift shop and second hand purchses to new.
I found it lacking in bass and power,( compared to my old 3240PE) so took the NAD C320BEE back to the Dealer and swapped it for a NAD C370. The C370 gave me a similar refinement that the NAD C320BEE had in the midrange, but far more bass slam, control, and power.
I would expect the NAD C272/C162 combination to do all the things I listed that the C370 did, and more. But with more refinement, detail and a more tamed high end.
thanks for the input.
