Garages and patios don't typically require much in the way of sophistication. Is this going to be a system that requires you can hear the music while cutting grass on the south forty? Or, is this where you sleep when you buy too much hifi gear?

Actually I do sleep in the garage....well I guess nap is a better word. We use our yard and garage quite a bit, as our house is a small bungalow and we spend as much time as possible outside. Not a big yard either...no back forty...but we have a pool and entertain a lot so "good" sounding music is a must.
I will be running the titans in the garage and Atrium 45's outside.
I was going to use the older Nad 7100 in the garage but I am not sure if putting the 720Bee in the house is actually a step "ahead".
Soooo does anyone have any input?

OK not much response here.
Can anyone direct me to some reviews of the 720bee. My searches haven't came up with much.
Thanks in advance.

The C720BEE is a very nice receiver - it is , actually, a C320BEE with a tuner. Go to www.nadelectronics.com for more info.

It has A/B speaker outputs, which can be convenient for the set-up you mention. (Makes me wonder why the C320BEE and C325BEE don't have multiple speaker outs.) If you are going to be listening in such an open area will 50 watts be enough? I'm not familiar with the 7100 so I can't make comparisons.

As I said it is a great sounding receiver but I can't help but wonder why NAD didn't make it more powerful.
