My father was killed in a car accident March 20 1968. Other than some books and his watch, all I had of his was this Perspex (acrylic) protractor. (His first job after demobilising from the RAF after WWII was an apprentice draftsman for the deHavilland aircraft company.) I have used the protractor occasionally over the years, including preparing the template I used to measure the Magico Q5 speakers last month (see the photo at http://blog.stereophile.com/stephenmejias/lets_get_physical_the_magico_q5/). but when I got it out of the desk drawer last night, it fell apart. The Perspex had, over they ears, lost its integrity. This is all that is left.
