Music to die for!

Well I suppose at least poor Anna von Walsegg did...

I am referring to the SCO/Mackerras reading of the Levin edition of Mozart's Requiem, available as both SACD and a variety of downloads from Linn Records.

My curiosity aroused by their fantastic Messiah (see Elk's thread), I decided to try the 24/96 FLAC 'Studio Master' download, despite its slightly nosebleed-inducing price of

uh oh!

Another Struts recommendation.

Experience teaches that he is absolutely correct and accurate (bit perfect?) in his descriptions.

I adore the Requiem and already own quite a few versions.

I see another in my near future . . .
