I have a better suggestion since you can't hear the difference buy cat5 (copper) instead of wire hangers (galvanized iron). Cat5 is easily available looks good, flexible, easy to solder...etc. I could go on.

Yeah, the "consumerist" crowd are the dweebest, no-life penny pinchers who spend their days cruising the aisles of the mass-merch computer/electronics stores looking for mismarked open box returns.
