Of Monroe Institute and Hemispheric Synchronization..

A couple of years ago I bought the Hemi-Sync course(well, a couple of them) on reccomendation from a good friend of mine...He said it would help me "calm down"(I was still a bit high strung from Iraq). Well, ive been using it every night sense then and the results have been sporadic....

till two weeks ago. I was on Vacation in the Idaho wilderness , my family and I rented the Oakley Ranch...in the middle of these big hills. Nothing around. We wanted to sleep under the stars so we brought our 8 man tent and were in heaven. No noise or light pollution. No humans. Just nature. I intentionally refused to bring music as I find these excursions to the woods to be essential in terms of "resetting" my ear-brain mechanism. I often find that I experience huge gains in perceptive ability. On the downside. when one is attuned to nothing but the sounds of the earth, man made sounds sound really, REALLy synthetic..even the purest of the pure recordings, even the best symphony orchestras live..

anyway. off topic.

I did bring my HEMI SYNC Collection and listened to them as I normally do.

Well.. I am a bit uncomfortable talking about it and I will not at this juncture, but I had a very, very profound and horrifying experience that shook me down to the root of my being.. an epiphany of the highest order. I am still deeply shaken even now. two weeks later. it wasn't anything like "humans all suck" or "this is bad" or anything...no, it was much deeper and much more disturbing.. with a hint of hope.

i am not the same. more to follow.

FYI..the course is here.

http://www.monroeinstitute.org/store/lucid-dreaming-series-audio-dvd.html and was playing all the while I was in this fugue state..

Thanks for sharing and providing the link Teddy. It may be something I can benefit from too.

yes, there are paralells, although ECKANKAR tends to focus more on the spiritual aspects, and the Monroe Institute tends to focus research on Brain Function.
