Michael:

What turntable are you going to get?

All:

At present, I have sold off my analogue chain, but am intending on getting a rega p3 (upgrade from my old rp-1) with an ortofon Blue cartridge (step up from the red I had), and I'm undecided on phono stage. I had a Vincent PHO-8 which served me quite well, but I am compelled by the highly modifiable Jolida tube-based stages.

Any opnions?

Best Regards,

Ron

Hi Ron

Harold & Andy just got into town for the CES a week ago, along with 150,000 electronic thrill seekers. I'm hoping we can get around to a few displays, but our time is booking up fast and I have been manning the home base. If we don't find something to play with I might have to build one, but we'll see.

Whatever the case, I will be using Audolici phono staging. I'm living with the A25M amp and have to say out of the gate, as tough as I am on components, Coop scored big by bringing in the Audolici line. LOL, I was prepared to be polite, but it knocked my socks off so far and that's with just the basics of tuning. I haven't had a component do this in a long time. So First I'm looking to see how far I'm able to go with this beauty of an amp then I'll mate it to a few tables and see what's up.

Will let you and TuneLand know when I get to that stage.

Jolida has cool stuff. I've owned several of their products in the past and actually am setting up a system now with the little guy (smaller amp) for a friend here.

Hi Guys

Picked up the Music Hall MMF-7.3 from Roy. It's the actual one in the picture in our CES report http://tuneland.techno-zone.net/t342-ces-2016-las-vegas

Will be fun playing around with, along with some of Roy's other goodies. Got a Creek Evolution 50A being delivered tomorrow and the MMF-25.3 has been in house for a couple of weeks.

Toys, toys, toys, will we ever grow up? Hope not!
