While the Pioneer speakers are unquestionably an excellent budget choice, they have one little problem; rather low sensitivity. This means they require more power to drive them than some others.
This will not match up well with the low power available from that Marantz receiver. It will place a rather low limit on the dynamics of your system.
My suggestion would be that you get the Harman-Kardon AVR 2650, which IMO has considerably more power and better sound quality (and perhaps better features).
IMO it will sound better and perform much better with those speakers.
It is also available from Amazon currently for $350, which is a baragain price.
If you look it up on Amazon and scroll down the page you will see an impressive detailed description of its extensive specifications and features.
