While DSD is great, this is a truly silly argument.
There is nothing about DSD which is any more "future proof" than any other digital format.

The list of artists using magnetic tape is longer than four people.
DSD is great stuff, even given that all editing of DSD data is done after converting it to PCM.
There is nothing that makes DSD more "future proof" than any other form of digital data. In fact, DSD currently "needs" PCM just to create a simple crossfade edit. Future proof?
Yeah, the Korg is great for 2-channel archive, but you have to move into other formats to work with it.
