Michael Fremer gave the SA-KI Pearl CD/SACD player a big thumbs up in the July 2010 Issue and I will bet the SA-IAmp is also very good. I have seen some demo pieces at a very good price at www.musicdirect.com here in the US, and they still showed them this moring.
You need the 220v verions so I would be checking locally or on the net in Europe for a possible bargain pair. I doubt you would be disappointed.
I also have a friend who owns the SA-11S1 amp and CD/SACD player and likes them very much. A little softer sound I think, but he really likes them.
I am not familiar with your speakers, so I can't be of much help there.
Thank you for your answer. Each advice is welcome as it's quite hard to listen these amps with my SOAVO speakers here. I imagine there are not too much differences between the Denon and the Marantz KI.
I read some tests on English, American, French and German websites and they all praise these models.
It's difficult to choose one brand ;-)
You should hopefully be able to bring the amplifiers in question home for an audition, with a return option from the dealer.
Good luck
If your speakers are revealing, then I bet you can hear differences between Denon and Marantz. That is why Keld's advice is good to follow...Audition.
The speakers in question are reported to be a little low in the mids. But still I have never heard any of the more expensive Yamaha speakers, so the info is purely second hand.
