Doesnt make any sense to me but what about their server for their current customers? Every thing passes through it, Pandora, etc. Without it Squeezbox will not work. I was going to buy an addition Touch but they now go for $800.00 or more on ebay and no one is sure if the server will work 3 years from now.

They buy it, they toss it. I hate those guys. I cant live without it. Streaming audio is so much better than using computer files.

that I got mine from Amazon when they were on sale for $199. I got in a little trouble with the wife, but I got out of a little trouble when I showed her what they were going for now. It is a wonderful product, my hope is that a company with more vision will purchase the rights to manufacture, support, and improve it.

Maybe we dont need the Sonos and the Squeezeboxes anymore. I bought the new Oppo BDP-103 Bkuray player. It has Pandora and Rhapsody on top of Netflix and VUDU. This 4K up-scaling player and preamp can be connected directly to an amplifier and voila. Why do you a Squeezebox? The Oppo costs $499.00.
