In general, I am suspect of the motives of many dealers who both sell and install. They often promote some off-brand inferior products that give them astronomical mark-up/profits.
My advice would be to go with a dealer that is primarily in the business of selling quality equipment but can recommend a reputable setup/installation person they have worked with. Find one that sells well-known high quality brands of gear first.
Do your own research on the equipment recommended, and rely on the Recommended Components section of Stereophile. If a dealer is recommending some unknown brand that has not been favorably reviewed, or if he knocks Stereophile as a source, walk away fast.
Best Sound on Lindbergh is one that seems to be worth looking at.
Do your research and listen, listen, listen to as much gear as possible (prior to any buying).
Keep me posted on your endeavor!
