My AudioKinesis Jazz Modules
borrow HEAVILY from Earl Geddes designs, and I have heard the Nathan, Abbey, and Summa(JMs are based on this kit) systems as well. (Duke LeJeune, the Jazz Module's daddy, was very inspired by Mr. Geddes designs and says so often)
They were a real eye-opener to me. Most enormous sound-stage I have ever heard. enormous sweet spot. Timbral Accuracy is unparalleled. The Jazz Modules incorporate a low thermal compression Pro Sound Driver TAD TL-1102
coupled with an extremely HQ waveguide.
masterful crossover design, exceptional, linear response.. .and, unlike pretty much every other speaker ive had, they get the reverberant sound field information correct..I will *never* go back to any other type of design..(Mind you ive had Quad ESL, B_W, Totem, Link Audio, Lipinski, Duntech, in this house..etc etc etc..)
if these ever die, I will buy another design from Duke or buy from Mr. Geddes. Every other speaker design(that ive heard) falls short in comparison.
