Actually, the PM665 does 180W per channel with a 4 ohm load, so I think it'll be just fine for now. I'm pretty sure I'm going to get the MMGs and later have Peter Gunn do his mods sometime down the road.

and a decent sealed, low Q subwoofer would get you under $1000 and would sound great. Check out an Emotiva Ultra Sub 10 for $330 delivered. Run the MMGs full range and low pass the subwoofer at 50 Hz.
