Salsa trombonist Jimmy Bosch has performed with Celia Cruz, Ruben Blades, Ray Barretto, Willie Colon, and the Fania All-Stars. He remains true to the salsa dura ("hard salsa") style, in which musicians look back to classic Latin folk tunes and fire them up with exciting rhythmic shifts and experimental instrumentation. Here, Bosch is performing with "El Maestro" Johnny Pacheco, at LQ Lounge in Manhattan.
