Can I suggest you visit some stores and see what combinations the local dealers have for the items they carry i.e you mention 75% of your budget and see what they come up with. When you really like a combination, you would want to look up reviews and get second opinions and release the remainder of your budget for upgrades and shortfalls.

I found a dealer in Dubai called VV & Sons and from their website they stock Jamo, Nad, Marantz and I believe they are dealers for Energy Speakers too. Check out the Energy RX-70 as an alternative to Jamo C807, NAD C372 is an alternative to the Rotel RA-06, Marantz CD6002 an alternative to the Rotel RCD-06.
One last thing, I presume you have heard valve amps and decided they are not for you. If you have not then you owe it to yourself to check them out before you go any further.

Thanks
There are really only 2 shops I've found that have knowlegable staff the one is Dubai Audio Centre which is top end, so buying a system from them in my budget would not provide the scale I'm looking for (50w max if I'm lucky), I know its about quality but I need more.
The other shop only sells B&W & Rotel so its hard to compare.
There are a few shops that sell marantz deneon onkyo & pioneer ,but I dont know much & I know far more than most of them.
I spent a lot of time listening to what's available & the Jamos have sounded the best to me. But now finding an amp & cd that bring out their best is proving to be challenging. The speakers weigh 28kgs each so looking for advice before lugging them around to demmo.

Buy the best Rotel or NAD that you can afford and stop worrying.

Or, go over to www.audiogon.com and look at used equipment for about half new retail for mint pieces. That'll give you many more options to consider, and more to worry about.
