But more often nonsense..I can make a better case that the Unions, who control Obama's teleprompter, are really responsible for the current economic program with its save the unions at any consequence actions.

Except the unions aren't asking for a trillion dollar bailout. It's one thing to view unions as yet another lobby who vie for legislative attention to have laws that are favorable to them. It's quite another to equate them to failed financial institutions grabbing tax payer money to bail themselves out. There is a world of difference.

So did Noam Chomsky. However, knowing JimV and Lamont, I am sure that they will dismiss these opinions because:

1 is from Al Jazeera, Noam Chomsky is a commie pinko and Simon Johnson is a bleeding heart liberal (if he wasn't, he wouldn't be saying such heretical things). So, unless they hear it on Fox news, an opinion, no matter how accurate doesn't hold any water with them.

The banks have not gotten a trillion either...they got a few hundred billion. Unions, who own the democrats, got their own billions. Read the language in the PorkFest...almost 100 billion for education (100% to the folk in the unions). The Porkfest was designed to pour hundreds of billions into democrat special interests and did.

I actualy dismiss it because it is simply not true. It was an opinion piece not backed anything other than that opinion...show me the numbers. No numbers, no reality.

Well, he sort of said it was an op/ed in the thread title. Ann Coulter writes op/eds for a living as well. I'm sure we can find one that supports the lady from Al Jazeera.

Yes, but that is not what I am saying. I am saying that the piece does not provide any evidence, facts in support of its position, so one can either agree or disagree and be equally right. I find the argument nonsense without facts and figures to prove it. Others seem to believe simply writing is is fact enough to support the idea...
