Interesting comparison..

My Wadia 8 utilizes the Teac VRDS clamping mechanism. Any similarity?

yeah, they OEM for a lot of companies.

I wonder what the price difference is between the Wadia 8 and the identical Teac above? My 8 was $3,500 when it was released in 1993. I bet the Teac was way more less expensive and virtually the same player.

The TEAC VRDS was about 700 dollars.
