Correct answer: I don't know.
Guessing answer: Probably would be fine; a laser cleaning disc has never hurt my drawer loading cd player, so it probably is fine in a slot loading player too.
I put it in and it played track one...it says to then shift to track 3 (no idea why there is a track 2) and that caused it to lock...I had to shut down the iMac and reboot to extract the thing SO...not a good idea.
I also have one CD that refuses to rip...any other CD I put in the drive works fine but this one sort of clunks, whizzes, spins up, stops and in general makes a heck of a noise while not ripping..
Not a scratch on the CD and it works in all my other CD drives
????
