Quote:
Voltaire aptitude for quick, perceptive, cutting, witty and scathingly critical reparties made him highly unpopular on many forums..

He was highly critical of the Church, Wilson, G W Bush and Southern hillbillies

His favorite songwriters were Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen

I was just silently hoping someone would understand the hidden joke of the fact that Voltaire was inducted into the brotherhood of Freemasons, two weeks before he died, as a 33rd degree Mason, in the presence of Benjamin Franklin who was one of the people who held up the (by that time) very frail man.

This was the actual beginning of the French Revolution. Which ended in the gift of the now controlling France Freemasons giving the gift of the Freemason symbol of the God ISIS (Isis-Ishtar-Diana, ie, ancient Babylonian-Sumer etc) represented in the form of the Stature of Liberty, which actually means 'we have control and dominion over all', and not freedom --at all.

The joke and 180 degree twist, to knowledgeable people and knowledgeable Freemasons, is that it means the exact opposite and the public does not know it and fights for the flag and symbol of oppression.

It was this gift to the Freemasons of America, from the Freemasons of France, who had been given the route and path that was required to take over France, through the contacts and associations of Voltaire (part of it, at the least), who said,

"The ideal form of government is democracy tempered with assassination."

and

Those who can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities.

and (I paraphrase)

"It is a shame that to be a patriot to man, one must be traitor to his country."

And a final note on where America is today, from Plutarch, about Rome, whom the real backers of the Republican Party (same people behind Obama, for the larger part) idealize, but they idealize the point of how it fell into slaughter, and violence, and carnage.. that was blood in the streets for 400 years (Caligula was one of them, he used to get his jollies by having people put on pikes around his outside sunny dinner tables) Like the 180 degree twist of the Statue of Liberty actually meaning slavery. They let their own followers think it would mean coming to some idealized 'Randian' (Ayn Rand, Alan Greespan's best friend, BTW) utopia but leads to a FAR darker place. Ie, the lie is different at every level:

"The real destroyer of the liberties of the people is he who spreads among them bounties, donations and benefits."

"The abuse of buying and selling votes crept in and money began to play an important part in determining elections. Later on, this process of corruption spread to the law courts. And then to the army, and finally the Republic was subjected to the rule of emperors"

33rd eh? Must have been a special guy. That degree cannot be earned, only granted. We had a a 33er in our lodge but he passed away right before I moved here.

I spit down on 33rd levels.
