Remember, the walls have ears. Speaketh in code. I suggest pig latin.
Many hackers with criminal records have made good money working to protect companies from hacking.
Maybe you could get a job with an audio cable company.
You could help them ban those with opposing views.
That's right! My snake oil is better than your snake oil because my snake oil is 100% natural made from real snakes.
Keep in mind however that snake oil is legitimate. High in Eicosapentaenoic acid, snake oil is an anti-inflamatory and has been used as a pain reliever by the Chinese for many years.
So now you are arguing the relative benefits of synthetic v. natural snake oil?
I'm saying whatever mine is, it's better than yours. That's all I'm saying.
There is something oily oozing out of my, recently acquired, Chinese made amp. Could this be snake oil? Maybe this is why the gear sounds so good.
Or could it be a leaking capacitor?
Nope, definitely snake oil. What's a capacitor?
Probably leftover Gycol they can't use in dog food anymore. Or maybe the stuff they forgot to put in exploding tires. Hi end and Chinese don't seem to sound right together. Bird songs do, Cheep cheep.
Better tell this to those "Hi end" brands that are manufactured in China.
Most of my stuff is made in the U.S. I don't need any extra unknown added chemicals and mis labled stuff. Recently i just purchased a bunch of wiring devices for re doing my kitchen, really sucks, Leviton well known U.S. device name, the damn things made in China!!! Used to be Mexico, not long ago all made in U.S. It's really getting baaaaad. WalMart Nation. Wanna be a greeter for $10/hr...that's where all this is heading. The high cost of low prices. Maybe P&S or Hubbell still make some of their devices here? Or Mexico?
The DUP speaks the truth! Man, I'll tell you, it's getting harder by the day to find anything not made in China. The NAD C325BEE probably would have come very close in price to my Rega Brio, had it actually been assembled in Great Britain. I'm on a pretty tight budget, but I'm willing to pay for workers to have a living wage.
And what's the deal with American cars? I could buy a Toyota now that's more "American" than a Buick. I'm from Flint, Michigan, and it's a very depressing town to see. It must be so much harder for my parents' generation; They remember when GM was cranking out cars and the city was thriving. I know there were several pressures that caused the General to leave town, but growing globalization (code speak for "Labor is cheaper elsewhere") certainly didn't help. The city's population is about half what it was 30 years ago, leaving depressed real estate and countless unoccupied houses.
I will NOT shop at Wal-Mart. When people tell me how much money they saved there, I want to grab them and shake them.
As a culture, we're very short-sighted. Save a few dollars on goods and erode the economy of your community and your nation. And, sure, you can have that car for $200/month, but you have to finance it for 5+ years and pay thousands more in interest.
I know this was kind of a long rant, but I think this is the first time I have agreed with you completely.
To everyone else: I'm sorry for putting this on an audio forum, and I really hope this doesn't degrade into some kind of social/political free-for-all. It's really not my intention to incite any such behavior. Thanks for allowing me to vent.
