I'm sure the new micro digital gear is impressive audibly, but I just can't get excited over the aesthetics..The stuff is just plain ugly.
Are the days of artisian craftsmanship numbered?

Jon I wanted to say that I thought your review was fantastically written, and a sincere pleasure to read. Having my own project studio, it's always cool to read about a fellow audio nut who puts things through not only the consumer level paces, but the pro end as well. Having gone from TAS to working for Arif Mardin at Atlantic Records - I got to learn about both sides of the chair if you will, and you do attack these things with precision and style - - Bravo
these streamers were trapezoidal-like as they are dual-board designs. As you'll see in the new iStreamer and the new MS II - the new extrusion is sleeker, and rounded off.. But, its the music and sound we luv right??
