Like many of you, I have a listening room that is quite small. It also, unfortunately, is in a part of the house that gets quite hot in the summer (I'm in Philadelphia, which can definitely get well into the 90s during the summer-- that's high 30s for you metric folks). My wife, in an act of mercy, got me an air conditioner for the room (at least as far as audio goes, I'm all solid state, but have two tube guitar amps in the room that can also generate a lot of heat). I'll do what I can to place the AC behind the speakers, but no matter what I do, there'll be a rather large amount of noise created by its operation. I've been in studios where they turn off the AC during takes-- is there any other option (aside from headphones) in terms of noise reduction that you can think of? What are your strategies for listening to music while not getting heat stroke?
