Yes, but with all due respect, Alex, it's not a rant...and therefore may not get the participation of the community-at-large, probably many of whom are not particularly interested in reading rant(s); I know I tire of them pretty quickly.
The rants section has served as a more or less general discussion section. If I'm not mistaken, it's the most popular section on these forums.
In my opinion, the words "rants" and "raves" have often been taken too literally here. General Rant'n'Raves is our General Audio discussion forum.
