I read Robert Deutschs follow-up report on the HiFi-Tuning fuses with great interest. I recently installed the Fuses in four of my components so the article was of specail interest for me, comparing what Bob heard and reported to what I and friends experienced. I don't like to quot what other people say because it can be taken out of context, but the way I read Bobs follow up was that the fuses gave a marked increase in clarity that reminded him of the old metaphor of veils being removed, that was nearly the identical response I had. We installed the fuses in four components at one time and listened, we weren't as conscientious as Bob in reinstalling the old fuses and listening again ( A B testing ) as the power amp fuses were difficult to install. The power amp was Levinson's #532H, the other three instruments were Ayre's KX-R preamp and C5MP CD spinner and Audio Research's DAC8. We used the Supreme fuses in three of the components but the amp required three different values and one of them was not available in the lattest Supreme model so the Silver Stars were used in the amp.
Once again I find myself wanting to thank Bob for an interesting and informative read.
